Untitled

Back to the day when I was on the white cliff at Dover,
strong wind and the rain make me and my travel buddy discussed if we should give up and head back.
At that time, a blur rainbow appeared on the plain.
I guess sometimes people are a bit foolish.
Even if the storm was strong and the wind is hard, we would easily be cheered by the rainbow and carry on.

Marmite

Even though I am always willing to try new food, Marmite is something that I don't want to have it again for all my life. Marmite is made from yeast extract, a by-product during making beer. Marmite is black and sticky toast paste. It smells funny and tastes salty, in my opinion. Yet, there are still some people think Marmite is wonderful. Therefore the slogan under the Marmite commercial lighting at Oxford Street is saying, you either love it or hate it!

Theaters in London

Watching a performance in Taiwan seems to be something serious. Most people put on their best clothes and act "civilized" during the theater night. Yet,theaters in London has a relaxed atmosphere. People can sip their drinks or eat snacks during the performance. However, it is rather pricey to go to a musical in London. It costs you about 20 quids to get you a seat that can barely see what's going on on the stage!

Walking On the Edge - White Cliff at Dover

You can overlook the European continent from Dover if the weather is lovely. As for the people from France, when they see across the channel, they will see the White Cliff. You can walk on the path that is almost on the edge of the cliff if you visit Dover and enjoy beautiful english countryside while you are walking. Unfortunately, I picked a rainy day to go there, so what I've got to experience is the muddy road like Elizabeth Bennet traveled to Netherfield Park in Pride and Prejudice. And it was not romantic at all!

Abbey Road

Among all the zebra crossing in the world, the one on Abbey road perhaps is the most famous one.
Numerous Beatles fans crossing this small road to get a photo that is resemble to the legendary album cover.
The Abbey road studio even set a camera to record people who are crossing 24 hours a day!
